Saddle Construction
I don’t take any short cuts or skimp on materials. I will use at least 2 ˝ sides of skirting for a saddle, the stirrup leathers are cased, slicked and stretched. I shape each ground seat to match the customers specifications. The seats are narrow in front then flare out to the points of the cantle so that there is a good place for your pin bones to locate.
Base Price
The base price includes the following: plain or roughout Number 1
Wickett & Craig saddle skirting leather -- natural oil finish -- rawhide covered
laminated wood tree -- 3/4, 7/8, or full double ring rigging -- stainless
steel or solid brass hardware of your choice -- 3/4" bark tanned wool lining –
non padded seat -- straight up cantle -- leather tread covered stirrups --
Blevins buckle stirrup adjustment -- 3" stirrup leathers -- all edges hand rubbed and hand finished -- 6' near latigo --
half breed off latigo -- 1 3/4" stitched and
lined rear billets and a 3 1/2" stitched and lined rear flank cinch.
BASE PRICE: $2000.00
Deposit
$1,000.00 deposit required when saddle order is placed, payments accepted during lead time.
Guarantee
All saddles are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the saddle to the original owner. This guarantee does not cover the natural wearing of the hardware and leather due to day-to-day wear, misuse, accidents and alterations. If you drop it out of the pickup and the trailer runs over it, I won't warranty it. But I might be able to fix it.
